English Cucumber and Dill Salad Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 hydroponically grown English cucumbers
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
- 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon honey
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions:

- Wash the English cucumbers under cold running water and pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel.
- Slice the cucumbers into thin rounds or half-moons, depending on your preference.
- Thinly slice the red onion.
- Chop the fresh dill finely.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the white wine vinegar, extra-virgin olive oil, honey, and a pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper. Whisk until the dressing is well combined.
- In a large salad bowl, combine the sliced English cucumbers, sliced red onion, and chopped fresh dill.
- Pour the prepared dressing over the cucumber mixture in the salad bowl.
- Gently toss the salad to ensure all the ingredients are coated with the dressing.
