GrowCamp & GrowTour
Two ways to learn about hydroponics through farm visits
GrowCamp: For Atlanta Students
Take in a full day S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) camp for students through Atlanta’s only farm-to-home hydroponics operation while learning about the principles of hydroponic farming and seeing how we work on a local level to dial back emissions, water waste, food waste and more through our unique supply chain.
GrowCamp will show you how we test and prove items in our Farm before they get packed up into monthly deliveries of GrowBoxes, raised in your GrowBlock, delivered nutrition with GrowUp all before you can seamlessly and easily enjoy those fresh herbs, plants, and flowers growing footsteps from your kitchen. This cycle has multiple opportunities to advance STEAM curriculum, including but not limited to:
- Sustainable agriculture
- Electronics & circuitry
- Botany & horticulture
- Urban farming
- Chemistry
- Life science and biology
- Resilient ecosystems
- Plant cycles and grow
- Entrepreneurship
- Logistics and Supply Chains
This camp is designed for students between 7-12 years old looking to better understand hydroponics. Each day of camp is a full day of activities from 8 am drop off to 5 pm pickup at the cost of $85/student. Sign your future scientist up here!
Teacher Testimonials
“Our third grade class loved visiting the Produce’d farm. Students got a chance to see lots of plants close up, ask a lot of questions about how hydroponic farms big and small work, and they even got their own take home kit”
Ms. Little – Third Grade Teacher
