Description
This is the classic Italian Genovese basil but bred to be less tall. The plant produces good yields of dark purple basil leaves. Great for adding seasoning to Italian and tomato dishes. Excellent as a garnish, herb vinegar, or seasoning for poultry, beef, stews, and soups!
Plant Care:
Cut me 1-2 inches below the leaf cluster, which is right above the next leaf cluster. This allow the energy to be place back into the root system for producing the next set of leaves. Make the plant less “leggy” and more “bushy”.
