Atlanta’s Hydroponic Hub of Growth, Learning, and Community
Tucked just minutes away from the world’s busiest airport is one of Atlanta’s most inspiring hidden gems—the Produce’d Farm and Learning Lab. It’s not just a space for growing greens; it’s where ideas, innovations, and future leaders take root.
Inside this expansive, multi-thousand-square-foot indoor facility, plants aren’t the only things thriving. We’ve designed every square inch with a mission: to make hydroponics accessible, hands-on, and transformative for learners of all ages. Whether you’re an educator, student, community partner, or simply curious about how hydroponics works—this is your home base for green living and forward-thinking science education.
🌱 A Space That Grows More Than Food
At Produce’d, we’re proud to say our Farm and Learning Lab is unlike anything else in Atlanta. Beyond rows of vibrant hydroponic towers and leafy greens, you’ll find students deep in discovery, teachers building new skills, and families learning how to grow food at home.
The facility is a fully equipped working farm and educational campus, offering real-time examples of sustainable, soil-free growing systems—like our signature GrowBlock—while serving as a launching pad for lessons in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM).
🧪 The Classroom Comes to Life Here
For many of our visitors, walking into the Learning Lab is the first time they’ve ever seen a working hydroponic system up close. The lights, the water, the smell of fresh herbs—it’s an immediate and sensory-rich entry into science. That’s why schools across Georgia are booking field trips and workshops to visit us.
Here’s how schools and educators are using the space:
- School Field Trips & Workshops: Students tour the farm, learn how hydroponic systems work, and even get hands-on by planting or harvesting. We bring the science off the page and into real life.
- Teacher Training & Professional Development: Educators come here to train with hydroponics in mind, gaining confidence in using GrowBlock systems and integrating applied sustainability into their classrooms.
- Curriculum Coaching: We don’t stop at field trips—we offer lesson ideas, classroom materials, and long-term support for educators who want hydroponics to be part of their core STEM strategy.
Our facility is designed to serve as a testbed and toolkit for education professionals exploring how hydroponics can solve classroom challenges—from student engagement to hands-on application of abstract science concepts.
🌞 Where Camps Come to Grow Up
In the summer and on school breaks, the Farm transforms into a green-powered classroom without walls. Our GrowUp Camps welcome young learners from all over Atlanta to dive into hands-on sustainability and science through hydroponics.
Campers get to:
- Build and take home their own mini hydroponic systems
- Experiment with water, light, and nutrients to understand how plants grow
- Learn how food systems work—and how they can grow their own at home
- Connect STEAM lessons to the real world in the most delicious way possible
And we don’t just host our own camps. The Learning Lab is also open for field days and visits from other local camps, rec centers, and youth programs. If your organization is looking for a fresh and exciting science experience, there’s a spot waiting for you at the Farm.
🌎 A Local Solution With a Global Impact
Atlanta is a city known for innovation—and we believe hydroponics is the next frontier of urban sustainability. With rising concerns about climate change, food insecurity, and educational gaps, our Farm and Learning Lab is stepping up to meet the moment.
That’s why we also open our doors to nonprofits, local colleges and universities, and community-based institutions who want to:
- Learn how to use hydroponics for nutrition-focused outreach
- See examples of food systems that reduce waste and use 95% less water
- Understand how indoor agriculture can provide healthier food in urban environments
We welcome all types of groups, from STEM departments at Georgia colleges to community gardens looking to go vertical. Our team is committed to offering consultation, training, and partnership opportunities so more communities can benefit from what we’ve built.
🚀 The Future is Growing Here
At the heart of it all, the Produce’d Farm and Learning Lab is about empowerment. We believe that hydroponics isn’t just a teaching tool—it’s a pathway to a healthier, smarter, and more sustainable future for Atlanta and beyond.
Whether you’re a teacher looking for next-level STEM experiences for your students, a parent curious about indoor gardening, or a nonprofit seeking food system solutions—we’re here for you. And we’re growing every day.
